| Did you get a code 55 on the ECU when you checked? I had that same problem and the car wouldn't get over 6psi or so. I rooted around the harness and discovered this culprit:
It was just enough to set off the code and put it in safety boost. This is the info I went by when I fixed mine: http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=786419 Ordered my relocation kit from Coz @ CZP ([ www.czp.us ]) and the problem was fixed the next time I started the car! (Bernie NoVa sells a relocate kit too in classifieds.) It was like night and day difference, and a piece of cake to do. It is not a long term solution because the det sensor needs to be in the proper place, but I am considering pulling the motor this winter and I'll put it back then. Good luck!
If I would have known addiction was this expensive I would have seen a shrink a long time ago. --BadZCar (FL) |
